Alison is working with Wycliffe Bible Translators, teaching Englsh in the Rain Forest International School at Younde, Cameroon. This nation in Central Africa has been identified as having one of the highest concentrations of remaining translation needs, there being some 270 languages spoken by its 16 million people. Over 90 language development or Bible translation projects are going on at present.

Geoff Malan is working with ‘Gospel to India’, offering quarterly intensive training sessions for Church Planters and assisting in the Bible Colleges that have been established. He is also working with two Bible Colleges in Coimbatore developing Missions Training programmes with them. Together with ‘Gospel to India’ he will facilitate the establishment of a Leadership and Church Planting Training Centre, in the State of Bihar. This is the most unreached Province in India. Recent mission surveys identify the Bihari people the most unreached people in the world.

Karen successfully pioneered a revolutionary orphan scheme operating in two centres in South Africa that is being used as a model in India. She has also developed a training manual that assists others to set up Psycho-social Support Centres for orphans. She gives her life to children and will continue to do so whist there are children suffering.

Peter and Jenny Kay are working in East Africa, engaged in training and teaching work in the Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College. Their ministry extends into Burundi where they are involved not only in Bible Teaching seminars to pastors and churches there but also in projects to enable feeding and educating the children of widows who have contact with the workers there. Teaching and ministry commitments are a major part of their work and also seeking to help many to find healing following recent genocide and trauma.

Jens and Lizzie have been working with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea since 2001. Jens is an experienced Literacy specialist whose major task is training indigenous people to become teachers so as to school their children to read and write in their mother tongue. Lizzie helps PNG people to read and use their mother tongue, and in so doing to learn and apply the truth of God’s word to their lives.

Frank and Carol have been Assemblies of God missionaries in Spain for over 30 years, pioneering and planting some eleven churches and placing them under the leadership of Spanish people whom they have trained. They are based in the mother church at Castellon and are planting out daughter churches in Oreposa, Villareal and Onda as well as having their own missionaries in North Africa. Their three adult children, Tim, Nicki and Katie are all very involved in local churches.

Brian and Margaret have been in Thailand since 1990 when they pioneered the Christian Centre in Phuket. The Church has grown and in 1997 developed an International Church which meets in the building the church purchased at Phunphon in 1999. Through the New Life Foundation Projects, the church has partnered with the Thai government to found the Thai Muang Nursery School and Childrens’ Clinic and sports facilities for the secondary school, the Ban Kamala Village School that had been destroyed by the tsunami, and Sussex House which will help children and young people for years to come.

Nigel and Kathy Harding, along with their daughter, Abigail,
left London, England in February 2002 to become field coordinators for Missionary Ventures in Uganda. They have adopted a Ugandan boy called Emmanuel, who has become very much part of their family. Nigel's vision is to communicate the Word of God through teaching and preaching, with a priority to build strong relationships with indigenous leaders in helping them reach their goals.
